The trans experience of keeping each other alive while cis saviors profit from our mere mention.

We have enough validity right now, but what cis folks CAN actually do:
- Contribute to GFMs for trans care and travel (we are a very impoverished demographic!)
- Help a trans person get a job
- Help a trans person move
- Vocally oppose anti-trans legislation (yell at reps, not random bigots online!
I skeet that I’m annoyed that everything trans people warned you about is coming true and I get a dozen random cis people going “uwu you’re a real boy” in my replies and thinking that’s their activism done for the day

When this hit my inbox I was so pumped!!!! I love @msteabotanica.bsky.social 's herbal medicines and I love supporting trans people!
My first post at Resonant Body is a love letter to trans siblings, queer ancestors & call for allies to step up in community defense. It’s gonna take all of us meeting at the intersections of shared struggle, centering the most vulnerable. Write to trans inmates, put yr 😷 on, offer material support.

"We can still do what we've always done — take care of each other, break rules, and help people get what they need to survive…This is a time for sustained care for one another, careful rule-breaking, and disobedience in the face of illegitimate authority."
My latest reprinted in @truthout.org. “For those of us who care deeply about trans children and trans communities, it’s important to stay focused on what the moment demands of us.”
We Aren’t Powerless in the Face of Trump’s Outrageous, Anti-Trans Edicts
We can’t prevent all of this administration’s harms, but we can greatly diminish their impacts if we organize.

the fascists are looking to rigidly define gender not just to punish trans people like they claim but to lay the groundwork for the oppression of all women. when gender is legally mutable, it is harder to use it to restrict people’s rights.

Sent a grip of herb donations, teas, masks, lung elixirs, nervines & salves to LA homies affected by fires. This was a few weeks back, but will continue to share long haul herbal support with mutual aid networks as I’m able. #herbalism #fireseason

transition has been mostly DIY and community-organized since forever. when you're ready, figure out what you can offer and what you need. talk in real life, use signal, get creative, don't get caught. they can't break us in a way that matters!!!! I love you.

Last day for public comment, it takes about 1 min. Confirming these two grifters would be a disaster for public health.
Call to Action - due Jan 29th!

Ask your US Senator to Oppose Nominees Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for Health and Human Services and Jay Bhattacharya for National Institutes of Health. Ask your senator by Jan 29 to oppose these two nominations for our nation’s leading health agencies.

We’re in scary times, but remember that the trans people immediately at most risk from the executive orders are those who were already being persecuted under Biden—prisoners, immigrants, full service sex workers etc. It’s okay to be afraid but keep your head in the game.
