In a powerful moment of history, African American Senator Cory Booker has broken Strom Thurmond’s record for the longest speech on the Senate floor—a record originally set in opposition to the Civil Rights Act.

April 1 may go down as the beginning of the end for Trump. The tides are shifting.

Maybe its a good time for a little Executive Order (EO) primer, a few wee tools for sorting wheat from chaff so it seems like less of a deluge. Item 1. EOs have to comply with the Constitution & laws, including acts of Congress. Any that don't will face long court battles before anything changes. /1

NFL games on a Wednesday is a really terrible idea. Streaming them exclusively on Netflix makes it even worse. Just concede Christmas day to the NBA.

I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying. John Masefield “Sea Fever” #nature #beaches
