it is kinda crazy how for like, 10 years every media outlet in the world constantly got in every child's face and went "YOU NEED TO LEARN TO CODE. NOW. THAT'S THE ONLY JOB THAT MATTERS FOR THE FUTURE" and now the only thing AI can do competently is code and completely decimate the coding profession

This is not enough money. So many problems with US tech could be solved if the fines were absolutely devastating, like well into the billions of dollars. I want to see true ruination
