Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

The early 21st century is amazing, so far today, I've watched Flo and Eddie open for Steven Stills in 1975, eaten some cheese from the French Alps, enjoyed a coffee made with beans from Ethiopia, recorded a version of a song I'm working on and been to the Diwali celebration in the market square.

This really reflects how technocratic neoliberal logic has captured the centre of political spectrum. The argument against it is not moral or ethical, it's on cost and feasibility grounds. It's the logic of managing the numbers is what gets you elected.
Keir Starmer’s spokesperson asked for the PM's response to Nigel Farage’s plan to deport hundreds of thousands of people living and working completely legally in the UK, replies that he thinks it is “unworkable” and “unfunded”.
So his objection is that they’ve got their sums wrong

Shoot down the plane. Let Dmitry Medvedev rant about it until he passes out from drinking too much nail polish again. Go out to dinner.
