Every facet of generative AI has made my professional life worse, without question, but THIS specific aspect has been driving me NUTS.
Clients, who have made me toil for weeks over indescribably small details, are now approving & producing in-house commercial artwork that looks like a fever dream.

I feel the clients now using GenAI to do stuff and going "good enough" when they used to nitpick at every last detail is due to them finding out all those nit picky changes take time and work they cant be bothered to put in.

The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

Yeah, I mean, I'm critical of any video nowadays that is trying to elicit an emotional response, especially when it's asking for subs at the end. It's weird that all the people seem to end up with the dog they want. And shelters are overflowing, where are the rooms full of people wanting to adopt?

I have told myself that I want to attempt prose fiction, this year—TTRPGs are wonderful but … I think writing fiction just requires me to sit down at a damn desk and work to my own damn schedule.
Despite this, I cannot quiet the ludic voices in my head.

I could never fault an indie dev for just wanting to withdraw entirely from public from what are deeply wild, unfair or aggressive demands on their passion projects from 'gamers'.

NEW at the Atlas of Mystara: Hollow World Set Hollow World Antarctic Cap. The last of my redraws of the Hollow World Set’s polar opening maps. What will we be exploring tomorrow? You’ll have to wait and see, but I promise it will not be a Hollow World map.

This was the final map showing the Polar Openings in the Hollow World Campaign Set, and the pair of the Outer World Antarctic Cap map. While that map showed the southern polar region from the Outer World, this one showed the Hollow World side. As with the other polar maps from the Hollow World Set, this map was revolutionary in its portrayal of Mystara’s polar area in a suitable projection for the first time — of course while attempting to show the curved polar opening connecting the worlds.
