🚨 There’s a lot of horrific news out of Washington right now—but you might have missed this: Senate Republicans just introduced a plan to sell off 120 million acres of our public lands.

Let me break down what’s in the bill and why it’s a full-scale land grab. 🧵

I had the privilege to attend the Center for Domestic Peace’s annual Mother’s Day lunch last week. Amazing organization taking on some of the toughest and most meaningful work. This year’s keynote speaker, Loretta J Ross, was excellent. Recommend her new book, Calling In.

Eelgrass is a coastal hero—storing carbon, filtering water & sheltering marine life.

🌿🐟 Help protect it:
🔹 Know before you go
🔹 Trash your trash
🔹 Use restrooms
🔹 Respect coastal spaces

Less impact = healthier shores. 💚

💙 80+ volunteers — from kids and parents to elders and community partners — came together to clean up roadsides across West Marin.

Together, we diverted:
✅ 300+ gallons (nearly 2 cubic yards) of landfill waste
♻️ 10 gallons of recyclables

Thank you volunteers!
