Looks like the building at the end of the old fish dock out at Chimney Rock in Point Reyes collapsed during these last storms. First shot is it collapsed, second is what it used to look like.

After a long night with heavy winds (up to 80 mph gusts in Point Reyes) the skies cleared up and the elephant seals continue to jockey for position at Drakes Beach. Next storm supposed to move in tonight with more rain and heavy wind. Happy holidays. Stay safe!

Intense wind last night has resulted in power outages all over West Marin. Inverness and Point Reyes Station still have power. A local wind sensor showed gusts above 60 mph in Inverness.

A 60 mph wind gust was recorded at the Point Reyes lighthouse at 6 pm. Going to be a long night.
