I'm already tired of seeing certain takes on the US invasion of Venezuela, and it's a reminder that social media is great for making all of us feel clever.
Most of us can't think this situation through, including the guy who unilaterally pulled the trigger.

Omigosh I have one of those super cool alarms that wakes you up with nature sounds and a simulated sunrise. Unfortunately, I share a bedroom with someone whose schedule is different than mine, so I can't use it. ☹️
Do people outside of TV and the movies still use alarm clocks? Or does everyone pretty much use their cell phone.

I just did my look ahead Tarot reading for 2026 and in summary, I have the tools, I just need to do the work. 2026 can be my year for health, happiness, and creative success if I avoid the usual temptations.

It's snowing again to cover the ice pebbles formed by yesterday's freezing rain. I need to go out and shovel but I'm afraid there isn't enough grip on any pair of boots to keep me from falling on my tailbone.

If it helps anyone, I have a couple of tips for dealing with holiday left-overs:
- Make lunch-size meals, label and freeze. Or freeze in larger containers for future meals.
- (This one is sneaky) If you can't freeze it, put it in a different container and clean it up so it looks new. 😉

I don't understand why we keep going around and around with Trump's "peace" negotiations. He's a Russian asset either purposefully or by stupidity. Someone else needs to step in.

The house has been De-Christmased. I carried the tree outside and cleaned up all the needles, with no help from shaggy dog who laid in the needles then tracked them all over the house.
