I wish the people I'm interviewing tomorrow (& the ones last week, for a different job) could know I'm just as nervy as they are. I feel like interviews are a 2-way thing & they're deciding if they could work with me & vice-versa; they wouldn't be at interview if they didn't have the skills needed 😩

So grateful that I saw the wonderful Jane Goodall speak about her life and passion, she was utterly inspirational both as a scientist and as a fantastic example of a woman who worked hard to find her niche through a squiggly (early) career, amazing woman❤️

I was persuaded to watch the Dollars Trilogy last week. I thought #westerns were a bit of a joke, honestly, the Sunday afternoon TV tat of my childhood. Consider me a convert - 'The Good, The Bad and the Ugly' is a bloody masterpiece, I'm all in now, a whole new genre unexplored (soundtracks too)!

I spent a beautiful afternoon with this book a couple of years ago - when I started listening I was doing the housework but by the time it ended I'd been sitting on the living room floor for the last hour, completely wrapped up in it.

Tomorrow's repotting day! Left all my #houseplants to grow last year but shears are sharpened & decisions to make. Repot or chop & prop? We'll see tomorrow! Some are repots - Thanksgiving cactus grown from seed & crassula propped from a six leaf drop found on floor. The rest? We'll see 😁

Great thread - it was way past French GCSE when I realised that Peter Gabriel was not singing "She's...so fond of ya" in Games Without Frontiers. I sang it so confidently!

One of *those* work days when a year of prep goes live, lots of moving parts. Also my brother's 50th, so wanted to give that time. Then 'Don't panic but I'm in hospital' from Mum. And all actually turned out fine 🙏 Felt like a black hole at 9am, but chilled & happy by 9pm. How rare are those days?

Friend asked if I could 'Repair Shop' a 60+ yr old teddy, my most challenging #knit project ever! Stuffed w foam/dust that'd been thru washing machine 🥴 Knitter wasn't a sewer. Unpicked, vacuumed, repaired, restuffed, resewn, +scarf ☺️. Owner overjoyed, 2 even more challenging toys to go! 🧶 #KnitSky

March #WestKnits #socks done, but a bit deviated from pattern - I liked the teeth pattern too much (and disliked the chevrons enough) to end at heel so I swapped sides for more triangles. Not keen on April pattern but determined to stay disciplined! 🧶 #KnitSky #Knitting

Love the internet. Chatting with my niece about 'an odd headache' & able to work out it was an aural migraine thanks to images people have made showing how it 'looks'. When I had my first one (at same age) I couldn't describe it enough, but I sent an image & she said 'how do you know that's me?!' ❤️
