#Saltmarsh and the surrounding areas are ripe for extended exploration, adventure, and storytelling. Why stop at the Ghosts of Saltmarsh when you can spin up new adventures filled with peril, mystery, and treasure?

You can follow me on the internet but that's where it ends. Stop following me home. It's scaring the cats.

Did you know arthropods shed their exoskeletons as they grow? It's a process called ecdysis, but most of us just call it moulting. It's also how characters level up, pass time, evolve, or mutate in #ttrpg Bug & Claw!

A sharp, 40-page game about one feeling (grief, migration, burnout, hope) often lands harder for me than a kitchen-sink epic.
What’s your current “one feeling” project? #ttrpgs #gamedev

What do you do when the party has trouble committing?
Sometimes you have to "bump" them back into focus.

Madonna's favourite day. Prince? Not so much.

I hope all of your seasons have been happily greased!

For years the populace of Patient Watch avoids Stagbay proper because of a giant shrew living nearby, biding their time until they can take it and its kin down for good-- which is where their namesake comes from.

IMHO If you’re designing TTRPGs for 2026, the interesting pressure isn’t “how do I be bigger?” it’s “how do I be specific?”

2025 #TTRPG brainworms:
🫥 GM-less structures
🌊 Eco-horror and climate stories
👩🏻‍🌾 Non-European fantasy that isn’t just palette-swapped feudalism
🥰 Small, focused games that hit one feeling on purpose

What’s a system or genre you wish more people were talking about right now?

Silkhold is one of Bug & Claw's first main towns in the fiction and #ttrpg campaign.
• Pink hue of silkworm silk
• A glow worm's mansion lit up brightly
• Potholes and dilapidated streets
• An emerald-topped commemorative obelisk
• A shadowy naval base

Are you running a Curse of #Strahd or other game set in Barovia? Have some curious players or looking for new ways of keeping things interesting yourself?

Some of the aimed playable areas at launch for Bug & Claw. These are the Provinces of Western Entomara. They may seem familiar, yet different.

Places like:
Two-Vash
Arthos
Bombilly
Ganzai
New Kinship
Shrouded Steppes
The Kamerakais

Or the dangerous:
The Bivarak
The Barrens

One of the most exciting “innovations” in TTRPGs right now isn’t a mechanic, it’s access. Tools, spaces, and con lounges built so disabled players don’t have to fight the room just to play.

If you’re disabled and play #TTRPGs, what’s one change (tool, layout, policy) that actually helped you?

Every now and then I need a goofy night, but otherwise I love building an immersive world, mystery, and intriguing threads for everyone at the table, myself included.
I may be in the minority, but for me, chaos and shenanigans are not the goal at a #ttrpg table. I'm not against humor, but I love serious stories and games with stakes, and players and characters who take the secondary world and situations seriously.
Just me?

Periodical reminder that Noora Rose was ousted from this industry under false plagiarism accusations by Marcia B, involving texts that we ran thru anti-plagiarism academic software that found no instances of it, and nobody has retracted from what they did to her.

an infuriatingly large portion of the ttrpg playing public are to rpgs what the illiterate are to novels.
no, D&D does not offer equal support to "Thrilling Dungeon Adventures" and "Harvest-Moon-Esque Cozy Socialising", and if you think it does I will treat you like you are terminally stupid.

Bug & Claw is being built to be solo-first.
Oracles and generators are part of the tools used to make that happen. But what makes a good oracle? What goals guide a generator?

Hi I'm not indie in the sense of indie games, since I write D&D stuff, but I'm certainly not getting paid by a big company. I write rules for firearms and other tech along with dozens of new playable species. I write everything myself and illustrate using CC/PD images. You can find links in my bio.
