If some of the way XP is awarded is randomized between adventures and milestones, players will be free to act more like they want instead of in a singular, pushed direction like combat. Something I definitely want in a #ttrpg, which is why I wanted to try it...

MANY cats were sleeping on people's car hoods or roofs. People would walk by and give them cat treats or food.

This orange and white cat posed in the sun a lot, showing off its afternoon shadow.

We saw many cats with the same ear slightly missing. We wondered if this was a thing they did to cats to show they'd been vaccinated or something, or if there was a very particular tough tom cat around that had a taste for ears.

This kitty prowled around two different properties one after the other in quick succession. He went back and forth between not interested and kind of scared of people.

Fred stared out over Silkhold, observing the pink hue of silk that helped hold many of the buildings together, coalescing brighter towards the center of town.

I named this little cat The Director.
He seemed like he was having trouble seeing and had a clear infection in his eyes. Thankfully, they seem to check on the street cats pretty often in Mykonos and make sure they're healthy.

This was one of the only cats we met that was a dingus. He guarded this building and let you know if you came too close that he was gonna feck you up.

I have several photos of this performer. He rolled all over this cactus-covered wall and garden, then trotted back and forth. He had food dishes and a little carrier to sleep in.

Almost didn't even notice this fellow sleeping in the ruins of a castle in Mykonos. He stirred briefly when there was some nearby construction sounds but otherwise didn't rouse for any of the people.

This is one of many cats you can go to for information in Mykonos. Not all of them tell the truth, though, so be careful.

One of my favourite photos from the trip, this little Maltese miss could not give less of a fuck.

Another catacomb cat that came running and pranced all over the wall and sidewalk for us. He did not know there was no parking there.

I believe this was one of the many gentlemen we met in Malta, outside of some of the cities crypts and catacombs. All of the catacomb cats were so friendly. You could call them and they'd come running. They were some of the cleanest cats we saw, too. Definitely well taken care of.

To start, we have this lovely momma from Ortigia, Italy, hanging out in a plant pot. She had a couple of kittens nearby that she watched vigilantly.
