People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

Support these workers! The billionaire overlord would rather keep the entire telluride economy hostage than pay them what one of his restaurants can make in in one night over three years.

So yeah, pay them, then collectivize the mountain to be run by the workers and its original inhabitants!

Thanks to voters who passed our Prop I in 2020, the sellers of these mega-mansions (who benefited for years from artificially low taxes under Prop 13) will pay nearly $10m in transfer taxes intended for social housing. Prop I is a crucial progressive tax, forcing the wealthy to pay their fair share.

Didn't you guys write this exact same story about billionaires in NYC about Mamdani only to write a 'nah SIKE' follow up like a week after he won when all the billionaires realized they don't have Zabars in like Rochester
Billionaires are considering cutting or reducing their ties to California by the end of the year because of a proposed ballot measure that could tax the state’s wealthiest residents.
A Wealth Tax Floated in California Has Billionaires Thinking of Leaving
It’s uncertain whether the proposal will reach the statewide ballot in November, but some billionaires like Peter Thiel and Larry Page may be unwilling to take the risk.

A reminder that Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra’s parents emigrated here during a period when Italians were considered to be a genetically inferior and criminal-minded underclass that Stephen Miller’s racist predecessors said should be excluded from America

Musk doesn’t have to go to the DMV because he’s wealthy and has assistants who do that for him. Cheong doesn’t go to the DMV because he’s never lived in this country. If either of them had been inside a California DMV in the past decade they’d know that you can make an appointment and it’s painless.

ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

RFK Jr talking about the need for doctors to know how to treat measles for those who are unvaccinated.

“Only very sick kids should die from measles.”

No. They shouldn’t. That was the point of the vaccine. We eradicated the virus so children didn’t die.

If this gets you angry, then you should know: our country is doing this to undocumented children every day & has been for years.

We take toddlers, feed them dirty water, & put them in places where the lights never go out. We take teenagers and house them in crowded, too cold or too hot rooms.
