My wife poured her heart and soul into this amazing book that highlights her incredible expertise. You should do yourself a favor and pick it up even if you aren't in the library world. Some really good mental health pieces in here that can help give you another way to view success.

"Every panel rendered with grotesque and painstaking detail... a twisty, mysterious, and devilishly fun read for those who enjoy demon possession stories that don’t pull any punches." Thanks to @comicsplus.bsky.social for the kind shoutout for THE DEVIL THAT WEARS MY FACE!
Moni’s Pick 6 this month spotlights some of our best spine-chilling titles for a variety of ages, interests, types of horror, and preferred amounts of scariness. Spine-chilling stories are the absolute best during the Fall season, but especially for Halloween!

At the protest, a motorcycle shot up near the curb, its rider almost falling off. We looked over only to realize the little man couldn’t control his crotch rocket because he was trying to Sieg Heil while accelerating. He managed to do it before rocketing off, almost into the back of a car.

Love horror comics and fighting fascism? Check out this project on Kickstarter. Oh yea, my debut comics short story is included (along with a ton of incredible creators!). All proceeds to great charities. Thanks to JM Brandt for wrangling this all!

So thirsty was I, for justice, it even drove me to explore the depths of the cesspool formerly known as Twitter.
I fear this may finally be my ruin.

Re: a previous post: This former Eisner judge has harassed another former Eisner judge (and others) for years. He tries to force interactions, won’t take no for an answer, and was fired from his job last month. Despite us blocking him, he has again reappeared and followed us.

Baker & Taylor shutdown is similar to the collapse of Diamond, but for libraries.

Many are out thousands of dollars in undelivered books and must find new book distribution.

This means longer waits for new books and we approach having a monopoly for library book distribution.

Planning a new social media series where I read comics from my enormous TBR backlog, many of which were gifted by friends, and talk about them. I’ll be tagging creators and publishers, hope you’ll follow along!

It’s a modern librarian’s job to learn at least a little about manga.
Libraries and schools put too much effort into intentionally ignoring superhero titles.
Anyone have a particularly hot comic take?

As people reevaluate their streaming services, I’ve seen a lot of love for free access through public libraries. As a librarian: Please remember this when it’s time to support your library-providing streaming access depends on continued funding for libraries!
