It’s fantastic that Absolute Batman #1 has become so popular and in-demand - but don’t buy into speculators asking absurd amounts of money for a book that was printed a TON and is barely even a year old. The bubble will pop.

Brandon Davis complaining about Doomsday leaks. "t used to be; if you touched leaks (let alone pushed them to the whole world), you’re just cooked. Now, seems you get kinda rewarded? I don’t have an actual issue with the Doomsday stuff. I just don’t understand the rules or what’s respected/expected with filmmakers or fans and avoided it, thinking it was the right thing to do. It just didn’t matter and I skipped revenue, discourse, and other opportunities seemingly for nothing. Yes, obviously that leaves me a little salty. It’s not the end of the world and I’m not frustrated that people who went all-in on pushing leaks aren’t getting cooked. That stuff is always gonna exist. We all may as well have just made a bunch of content about it all when it happened rather than being dodgy. That’s literally money left on the table for media, creators, and others who thought they were showing the necessary respect to a movie and its fans. Maybe I’m just old and out of touch now."

What keeps me going in this industry is the kindness and helpfulness of my peers. Whether it's someone to bounce ideas off of, assisting with finding emails, checking in on one another, and all of the above, there are so many good people out there. Not everyone is nice, but a good portion are.
