Lifelong knitter, 🧶 took up spinning about 15 years ago. I’ve been a quilter, cross-stitcher, needlepointer, and crocheter. A lefty who is damn sick of the patriarchy.
Finally finished spinning Nula 2019, a fleece I bought at Shepherds Harvest in MN from #strawberryridgefarm.
60 ozs divided into 30 bags of 2 ozs and then two plyed. Feels good to get another fleece spun up, but several to go!

Not to state the obvious, but none of them were sent to a terrorist prison in El Salvador. They all had lawyers, indictment by grand jury, a trial or a guilty plea where a judge ensured it was knowing & voluntary & access to an appeals process. In other words, all the hallmarks of due process.

Andry Hernandez Romero sought shelter in the U.S. because he was persecuted as a gay man, one of the "particular social groups" allowed to claim asylum.

This ain’t immigration policy. This is straight-up defiance of the rule of law.

Got a new one today when the press secretary accused him of being a "human trafficker" just absolutely out of thin air!
Just so we’re clear, everybody calling Kilmar Abrego Garcia a “terrorist” or a “gang member” are lying, and they know they’re lying, and they repeat it for purposes of confusing people who don’t follow this stuff closely into accepting what was done to him.

As I’ve been saying for years, Trump’s pronouns are me/me/me/me/me/me/me. Everything is always about him. He has no consideration or empathy for anyone else, and no principles or values other than what’s best for him.

The Trump admin is operating as if unconstrained by law or courts. As @anthonylfisher.bsky.social argues, that’s different from Trump’s 1st term, which broke some rules but were constrained by others.

We’ve never before seen a White House team act without concern of impeachment or criminal charges.
Opinion | Trump's second administration acts as if there are no rules
This administration hasn't been constrained by the Constitution or the Supreme Court — and no one in America is immune from being targeted.

Donald Trump is suing some media companies. But he's also open to deals with them, like one with WBD that could include money, programming, or both.

Watch the video. Hear the truth from L.A.’s superintendent. Then ask why the hell Homeland Security is targeting kids.
