So this little #SeaSlug is a type of sap sucker in the genus Costasiella. These are not technically #Nudibranch and belong in the super order of #Sacoglossa. They perform kleptoplasty where they steal chloroplasts from their Avrainvillea algae host and utilise them for photosynthesis

This is what we are looking for assistance with. It’s basically an entire year of vet costs for every cat, minus a few high cost procedures that we were able to cover up front. They’ve been waiting to bill us because they knew we’ve been struggling with fundraising this year and the cats need care.
Drove to Happy Tails to put down the 2k we’ve raised so far towards @rocketcatrescue.bsky.social’s vet bill. Got an updated invoice and now I’m super stressed out.

I’m not going to win any prize for being a good patient today. Safe to say I’m ready to be done with this and back to my regular life. But my bloods were good, I got my fluids and my chemo and I’ll be back on Tuesday and then a TWO WEEK BREAK again. Woot woot.
