Of course I’m disappointed by the loss. But I may be even more sad about the idea of not getting to watch the delightful dynamic of *this* Blue Jays team. I hope to see as many of them as possible back together in the spring.

Thank you for an amazing season. See you in 2025! 💙❤️#letsgobluejays

When you live in a Halloween-crazed neighbourhood that is also rallying hard for the Blue Jays.

How many people opposing shelters in the name of children’s safety push for less cars, lower speed limits, road safety?

How many kids were harmed by unhoused people last year compared to drivers?

Believe survivors. Donate to organizations that support survivors. Understand that today is a hard one for most women. We know what it’s like to not be believed and why the systems are not built to protect us.
I wanna encourage allies to make donations today.

Every sexual assault centre in the country has seen an uptick in calls *just* from the trial, let alone today's verdict.

I'd also encourage you to support the most effective rape resistance program in the world (based here in Canada!)

Our home internet has been down for more than two days. Found out the neighbour stopped two separate techs from accessing the utility pole in his yard! 🙃

Normally a nice view of the skyline from Withrow Park, today I can barely make out the CN Tower through the haze.

I only have to step outside to see a car driving the wrong way on our one-way street. But anti-bike people, do go on and tell me about cyclists breaking rules.

I only remember having to wait in line (*maybe* 3-4 people deep) to vote in a Canadian election once. And the person in front of me asked me to go ahead because I had my baby with me.

Wishing everyone a smooth voting experience today!

For something cheery: a lawn covered in blue eyed star grass. A photo I snapped at U of T yesterday.

Why is this little guy from Halifax in Toronto? Is he being added to our ferry fleet?

View from my running route today which included the Beltline Trail.

I’m training for my first marathon in 16 years (third ever) and the changes of scenery help keep me going!

Running this winter has served up few rewards in the form of nice weather, conditions, or scenery, but I got a nice moment this morning.

Election day is so wholesome. Running into so many neighbours as we all head to the polls (at my daughter's school). This time with a side serving of everyone complaining about the sidewalks and weather.
