Y'know that Guardian article which cited an anonymous friend of Tyler Robinson claiming he was the only "leftist" in his family?

It just got updated after the "verified source" decided he couldn't remember his "relationship" with the accused shooter well enough to be quoted

Political violence includes denial of health care, income inequality, food and housing insecurity, cops, lead pipes, war, etc. Violence perpetrated against everyone, people that will never make the front page. When pundits and politicians talk about "political violence" they only mean against them.

We should ask Virginia Giuffre if she was one of the spa employees Trump was mad about Epstein taking. Oh we can't, why not? Sure was hit by a bus in March‽ That's an awful way to die. Oh, that didn't kill her? So ask her. Oh, a month later she Epsteined herself?

What in the Clintons is going on?🤔

This is a vital message: one of the larger reasons BlueSky is refreshingly free of alt-right shitlords is because in the early days we made a gentleperson’s agreement to starve these fuckos out and it worked. No likes, no quotes, no engagement. They got bored and left. Please keep the Old Ways.
Vice-President JD Vance confirms he has joined BlueSky.

Read this. It's important to not let the official distract you from actual documented history.
Video + eyewitnesses dispute this account from @50501movement.bsky.social .

Despite having never fired a shot, a long-time community activist is in jail, after protest security opened fire + injured him, also shooting + killing another demonstrator.

Been trying to put into words how I feel about the SLC disaster and as usual bad man Karl has a great take. Read his short thread.
If you're so afraid of firearms that the very sight of one being held in someone's hands causes you to consider opening fire on them, you shouldn't be carrying a firearm or being providing any sort of "security". These things are not totems against evil, they are lethal weapons...

Strong probability these aren't ICE at all, just criminals conducting a kidnapping in broad daylight. They don't move or sound like they have any official recent LEO training. Nobody is wearing armor either. AZ tags on the truck as well.
ICE raiding a crowded supermarket in Rosemead, California with no identification, indistinguishable from cartel hitmen, pulling high caliber rifles on unarmed US citizens trying to ask questions about wtf is going on. #3E #StopICE

Liberals fear that if people act unruly, Trump will be able to impose totalitarian control.

That gets things backwards. Trump is already imposing totalitarian control. That's what is driving people into the streets.

It's too late to avoid this fight.

We can be passive and lose—or give it our all.
It's Safer in the Front
Faced with intensifying repression and state violence, there is an understandable inclination to seek safety by avoiding confrontation. But this is not always the most effective strategy.

Worth the read. Hesitation and lack of information are always the main contributors to negative outcomes in volatile situations.

Both police and Gavin Newsom with a straight face push conspiracy theories of "professional protesters" who "go from one unrest to the other," while hundreds of literal military troops are being shipped into a city to shoot weapons at working-class people standing up for their neighbors.

This is 100% accurate, every time:
David Graeber said this in 2012 about protests in New York City.

Though this is increasingly what is happening this week in Los Angeles.
