If he's guilty, everything suddenly does"

“Konstantin, 4, a sociable boy, is often frightened by loud noises and guards, his parents said. He once cried for hours after a small toy airplane was confiscated.”
This post is really taking off. I know the Thanksgiving detail is grabbing, but I would encourage everyone to also read the full article about this family’s struggle at Dilley.

They’ve been locked up for 130+ days.

I spent hours with them on Zoom this week, and their story deserves to be heard.
'Even in Russia, they don't treat children like this': A family's nightmare in ICE detention
A Russian couple and their children sought asylum in the U.S. In a Texas detention center, they say they endured worms in the food and hourslong waits for medicine.

Not only did Trump lose the 2016 popular vote by nearly 3 million votes, once he was in office he launched a massive "voter fraud" investigation to prove that he'd *actually* won the popular vote by several million and then they didn't find a thing and quietly disbanded it.
Trump speaking at Fort Bragg: "The first time, I won but they say I didn't win the popular vote. You know I did. I won it by a lot."

This isn’t complicated. If
local law enforcement saw a TSA agent exposing himself in front of passengers, he’d be arrested and prosecuted.

When ICE thugs break the law, they have no more protected status than the TSA agent.

Arrest and prosecute ICE agents who break the law.
“Unfortunately, because Congress is not taking any steps to rein ICE officers in, there really is no option other than states protecting their constituents’ rights," said Joanna Schwartz, a law professor at UCLA.
Local and State Police Can Investigate Federal Agents, But Rarely Do
It doesn’t happen often, but local law enforcement can arrest and charge federal agents. Legal experts say there’s a moral obligation to at least try to hold federal immigration officers accountable w...

There is no hope for us if we normalize ruling class pedophilia.

No wonder Bondi spent the entire hearing screeching and deflecting.

Rand Paul to ICE officials on moments before Pretti's killing: "No one in America believes that shoving that woman's face in the snow was deescalation."

Note that ICE officials then confirm it was improper for her to be thrown down.

If anyone has any evidence that folks doing the kind of activism and observing that Pretti and Good were doing when killed were inspired by *elected officials,* I'd love to see it.

Because from my reporting in Minneapolis, exactly zero people cited elected officials as inspiration.

You read that right - Trump is just that amazing.

I’m sure the lawmakers who were outraged that their toll (phone) records were obtained in the course of a predicated federal investigation through a subpoena are going to back Rep. Jayapal in being outraged at just lawless surveillance of her (and likely others’) search history, right?
"It is totally inappropriate and against the separations of powers for the DOJ to surveil us as we search the Epstein files. (US Attorney General) Bondi showed up today with a burn book that held a printed search history of exactly what emails I searched." - Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA).

It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files.
