This is why we observe, this is why we’re concerned, and this is why it has to stop. Utter dismay, violence, and lack of accountability due to their dangerous immunity.
This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

-6 ICE vehicles stop someone on 35W, detain them for 30+ min, & then release them

I couldn’t be more proud of my city city, Minneapolis, and the people. As a Mexican-American w/ a dark complexion, the last few months have been incredibly challenging emotionally. I’ve been made to feel less than by our federal government. And, people who look like me have been cruelly mistreated.
