I’m so disillusioned with the marketing side of running a mag. Think it’s obvious I’ve always been uncomfortable with it but I hate it so much I want to stop any notion of having a ‘product’ to sell. I’d like people to support us for the value of the art we put out, it’s the only thing that matters.

It’s been a while since we’ve put an issue of Seize The Press out, simply cos I couldn’t find the right stories. But I just sent the final copy of issue #12 off to be compiled and I’m so excited for people to read it, I’m really proud of this one.

Rereading the Gillan foreword for UNCERTAIN SONS. Few pick up on patterns and recurring details like these. My working theory is that he has an eidetic memory. I think some people, many people even, will preorder for the foreword alone. You can be one of em.

I just reread Joe Koch’s story The Power Company Detective that will be in the next issue of Seize The Press and there’s such a raw energy to the prose, it rearranged my brain chemistry.
Genuinely think Joe is one of the best writers out there and you’re going to love this story in the worst way.
