How awful. This is outright health disinformation, lying to the American people. Not only is there massive evidence showing no link between vaccines & autism, there’s not even a plausible mechanism based on what we’ve learned about the genetics of autism, some environmental exposures in pregnancy
HEADS UP: CDC website now officially asserts that vaccines may cause autism.“Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.” Also says the “vaccines do not cause autism” header remains b/c of an agreement with Cassidy.

The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon

This will be a big way forward for blue state governors. It's highly constructive resistance to Trump that pundits won't be able to sneer about. As I reported last week, JB Pritzker's officials are exploring ways to buy Covid vaccines in bulk. Now Newsom et al are doing this:

I want to be absolutely crystal clear: The numbers published by the BLS are totally legit. There are too many folks involved — and I would hear from many of them (who are friends) — if they were being meddled with.
