Wasn't that something, Paul?
Megyn Kelly's career has followed an interesting trajectory; From being the target of a misogynistic attack which galvanized the incel support of Trump, to splitting hairs on pedophilia because some of her best friends are predators. What a journey!

Sorry to be sincere on the Internet but people celebrating & laughing about the torture people are enduring in our El Salvadorian black site is.. depressing. Honestly how do we ever move on from this? So many Americans are just plain evil. The world is so broken. I fucking can't handle this anymore.

The states with the highest infant mortality rates are Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas. These states are also all near the very top of the list for teen pregnancy.

Silicone valley is not full of geniuses it's full of salesmen and it'd be nice if politicians could tell the difference instead of throwing good money after bad. OpenAI's tech is going to hit a hard ceiling very soon if it hasn't already. You're investing in alchemy.
Scientists just called out Ursula von der Leyen for claiming that AI will match human reasoning by 2026. Her "evidence" consisted, it turns out, of CEO statements from OpenAI, Anthropic and Nvidia. Not research. Marketing materials. 🧵

It's not that corporate wildly misjudged their customer base and poisoned their own brand. No, it's the sales associates who are at fault for not being dead enough inside.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.

These tech guys think they're soooo special but bet I could lose 12 billion dollars too if someone just gave me a chance. I bet I could even lose 12 billion without killing anyone.
ICYMI: Microsoft’s charge “implies a more than $12 billion quarterly loss at OpenAI, said Firoz Valliji, an analyst at Bernstein.”

That “would mark one of the largest single-quarter losses for a tech company in history.”

Looked into what it takes to be a New York Times opinion columnist since its obviously an easy job with low standards. But it appears having a privileged upbringing and well connected parents is a prerequisite. Dang it, no career change for me 😔
