Remember immigration has benefited the UK by filling critical skill & labour shortages - in fact without immigrants our public services - particularly health & social care would not be able to function

Starting at 11 p.m. tonight, the storm will make a smash entry into the Gulf of Gascon, then head inland and touch midday-Toulouse at 3-4 a.m., and then Roussillon in the morning tomorrow. Still confirmation of stormy gusts between 110 and 130 km/h on Aquitaine, western Occitania including the Toulouse region, 140 possible in the Lauragais and the Tarn reliefs, 130 to 150 km/h in the plains of the Aude, the Pyrenees-orientales and the Hérault, up to 180 km/h on the reliefs of these departments... This storm is far from ANODINE, and will be REMARKABLE for its geographical extent and intensity. Unfortunately, significant damage is to be feared, definitely take every precaution!

Wes Streeting’s “I knew him but not well” defence reminds me of myself when my mother used to ask me lots of questions about some random hookup’s job, parents, etc.
Opinion: Ignore the smears: I was never a close friend of Peter Mandelson. And I fully understand the lessons we must learn, by Wes Streeting. I knew him but not well, and worry now that he thrived in our political culture. It was not just failed vetting: there was a failure of moral seriousness.

I think this is super interesting, matches all the qualitative interviews I've had with developers on this, and continues to show that we cannot evaluate the impact of tools on people with a metric of "production" alone. Psychological factors are always central!
