People who want humanoid robots will never not be sus. There is no good, legitimate reason to ever make them person shaped.
Also, more people should learn that the etymology of the word robot is the Czech word "robota" which means enslaved. This was not an accident, and it reflects deeper truths about the relationships we have with technologies that are built to emulate human cognition as a step in serving us.

My uh opinion on LLMs has been evolving and I now basically agree with this. I was actually hopeful at first but you can see it actively ruining people in real time now. It's nothing but a worthless fart factory that runs on misery, unfortunately
i cannot wait till openai goes bankrupt & drags all these other llms down with it & all these grifters trying to do books or career coaching or whatever other bullshit are left with nothing. i will do lines of that cope. i will grind it up and put it in wine
