I can’t get over how beyond despicable it is to detain street vendors, people that keep our streets vibrant and safer because of their presence. Street vendors are some of the most vulnerable and visible yet we are being told their detainment is to keep us safe. Ridiculous.

I’m so struck by this video. A regular day in Logan Square in front of a grocery store and ICE pulls up and tear gassed people. Funston Elementary School is right across the street as well. This is a major corridor in Logan Sq. No concern for human safety

What is the city government going to do to address the recent South Shore raid? Seems people were left with their apartments destroyed, items stolen, and potentially unhoused. Dozens others were taken into federal custody. Complete destabilization of our communities’ sense of peace and safety.
