The Pacific Ocean off New Zealand's South island east coast...and an albatross near the Otago peninsula...earning its fee.

I vusuted the stunning Lake Tekapo today in the Mackenzie Basin in New Zealand's South Island. I managed to capture a little of the blue in the lake.

First day in New Zealand. This is Christchurch's Cardboard Cathedral, so called because it has 98 cardboard tubes in its walls & roof. Officially the Transitional Cathedral, it was built following the earthquake in South Island in 2011 that damaged the existing Cathedral, now being restored.

"One of Us" was ABBA's final parting single - so we've adapted it into a 🎶 parody we're calling "Exodus" to reflect on the urinary trickle of Tory departures to Reform UK, most notably two driplets this week from the very bottom of the last government's barrel.

Exactly. I don’t want to hear anyone moaning that they didn’t expect Reform to turn out exactly the way the Trump regime is operating in the USA, if they are foolish enough to vote for them.

The red & white colours of Greenland's flag reflects its relationship with Denmark. White in the flag's main body represents the ice cap that covers the red ocean.
The circle ahows the red sunset that's above the white ice.
The circle's on the hoist side of the flag as is the cross on Denmark's flag

A few months ago Chris Philp called me “unhinged” in a Telegraph article about a video I made.

In it I warned about the brutality of ICE, & argued those who appease Trump would open the door to Fascism here too. I was called ‘hysterical’.

I have 0 regrets about that message.

Are there cells of CIA agents along our east coast ready to arrange the kidnapping Keir Starmer or John Swinney because of North Sea Oil? Blimey, I'm having a week in Scarborough for the cricket

HNY Blue Sky. What better way to celebrate it than to do so in front of the most eccentric advertising in British football. I just hope that Field Mill still has this gem

Well it's been a most satisfactory 2025, fellow Bantams folk.

From 1 win in 3 home games for the 69 up to that 0-3 vs Notts in March 24. Since then in 37 games, it's been 3 wins in 4.

Happy New Year #bcafc

I’m old enough to remember when CBS News would never have surrendered to a demagogic president or any other politician. Remember Edward R. Murrow?

Scotty Banks scoring a brilliant goal cutting in from the left for Blackpool against Mark Hughes's Carlisle.

What a ludicrous decision that substitution was.

Well we had the house made of bricks for a while but then thr familiar one made of sticks and/or straw.

I'm thinking that our preparation for this series over these last three years has been simply to say we're preparing for it.

Extraordinary happenings in New Zealand. West Indies chasing 531, requires 124 to win in 33 overs.

Greaves & Roach have added 130 for the 7th wicket.

West Indies 407 for 6.
