Last night I took the @mta.maryland.gov leadership team to ride Metro. We ride frequently but it's important to see & address issues at all hours. We said hi to our cleaning team, observed areas that need repairs, & identified some escalator issues. It was great to see so many nighttime riders too!

If the legislators of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania do not want to fund SEPTA in order to allow for its continued existence, they are welcome to cede the city of Philadelphia to the State of Maryland, to which it rightfully belongs according to both the 1632 Calvert and 1681 Penn royal charters
