Following the 2nd report of the UK Covid-19 Inquiry, a bunch of people are moaning about lockdown, saying we should have been more like Sweden. Moaning about the report.

You folks won - the world decided to ignore COVID.

Why are you so miserable?

Deadline: 12 December. If everyone who lost a job or knows someone who lost a job in the #NHS to #LongCovid responded, maybe the NHS could rethink exposing its workers to #Covid with no PPE. Roughly 1 in 3 people losing jobs as a result of having Long Covid are health or social care workers.
The #NHSProductivityCommission Call for Evidence is a chance for you to share your ideas about how productivity could be improved across hospital care, primary care, community care and mental health.

Rewiring an olfactory circuit by altering cell-surface combinatorial code - Nature
In Drosophila, changing the expression of a small set of cell-surface proteins in just one type of olfactory neuron rewires its connections almost entirely to a new postsynaptic partner neuron type, altering the fly’s odour response and courtship behaviour.

This is dangerous and short-sighted decision by the UK government.

These facilities save lives and are showing success in reducing overdose and deaths.

It’s not the substance that counts for the Record, it’s the accusation.

Disgracefully, the pandemic was treated as a political story rather than a health issue by all the papers and the broadcast media, with the BBC leading the charge.

The aim, as ever, talk up Westminster, talk down Holyrood.
