People who are fed easy (but not great) solutions to their problems tend to get lazy. People who get intellectually lazy (like chatgpt users) are not exercising their brains. ChatGPT users get stupider.
In the end it's those of us who won't use AI who will get the shit done.

I've witnessed people I know get dumber very quickly because they use ChatGPT too much.
They go from only asking about code to asking how to answer a basic email or even use it during work calls.
It doesn't make them more productive, just unreliable and disfunctional.

Today while covering the Paramount ICE stand off an ICE vehicle rammed a barricade and then into a crowd of protesters.
The feeling that consumed was the same that I felt watching the towers fall on 9/11.
I vomited. My hands sweated. I felt like my bp dropped through the floor. I broke crying.
