I'm cautiously excited for Wilson. But it's still depressing the entire elite establishment looked at Harrell's record and were fine with another four years.

The hard work starts now. A lot of very powerful people will work to sabotage her administration. But that's also not an excuse.

There's lot of challenged ballots in Seattle. Challenged ballots disproportionately skew younger with over half from people under age 45.

Ok Seattle, let’s get those ballots in before 8pm tomorrow!

What a great week to be a Mariners fan! 🔱
For the third day in a row, the #Mariners have clinched something related to the playoffs. This time it's the guarantee of at least a top-2 seed -- which comes with a bye through to the ALDS -- after Cleveland lost its series finale against Detroit.

A seat warmer should *at the very least* be physically in the seat to give the appearance of representing us.
UPDATE: I got this reply from CM Solomon's staff regarding his absence for yesterday's votes. He was at a previously-scheduled conference in Vancouver, WA:

Not only that, but it happened as bills from my recent heart attack-related medical visits come due.

Because of that, I'm doing a big sale for SKTCHD/Off Panel related things, so now's a good time to subscribe if you can...because I need it!

Love stories about families thriving in density. Tired of the 1plex or bust noise.

"The communal spaces contribute to community building, Dale says. “All the kids know each other, the kids hang out together,” he said, noting that the shared roof space has a trampoline that’s exceedingly popular."

The way this council holds SFH homeowners up on a pedestal is so frustrating.

Having lived in a 12 unit building, a sixplex, and then a townhouse, the way they speak about our style of living is so incredibly demeaning. Don’t tell me what I want, what makes a place vibrant.
And no, not every "young person" wants a lawn and house. I know this is really, really hard for boomers in general to understand, but some people don't want exactly the same lifestyle and level of land ownership their parents and grandparents had.
