I'm working on finding ways to speed up my work wherever possible. (I work slow!) I took all my hand-written exclamations from the first four Ashita no Joe volumes & made a master chart of marker/ink letters. Took several hours, but should hopefully save time in the long run! (Working on vol 5 now.)

I keep intending to make a list of fonts I recommend for comic letting and just general cute font use, but executive dysfunction keeps thwarting me. So, for now, I'm just going to recommend the fonts by a specific designer. @sara.pizza

This isn't an official hashtag random game Saturday post since, like, that's all of my posts, but sometimes it's good to remind yourself the Japanese PS2 library is so beautifully diverse that it has multiple licensed fast food games that not only have good covers, they're just Good Games, period. 😌

Practicing alphabets with an Ames Guide and a variety of pens, mainly pigment liners of sizes 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7. Trying alternate letterforms, and seeing how pen sizes work at different scales. The 1.1 fountain pen I have is too big to use at these scales. Excited to try with smaller nibs soon.
