Spent some time yesterday with my husband hanging up art I’ve had for ages. I think about a year ago I asked @sara.pizza to pick this up at a convention for me. It’s a @yukoart.bsky.social poster print of Laika the dog and it’s huge and I absolutely love it.

thought maybe I’ll go see Wake Up Dead Man cause I’m in the mood for a good whodunnit movie, & it’s exactly in the same over an hr away theaters as Frankenstein & now I’m pissed at Netflix doing the bare minimum. I WAS gonna pay money but now, nah

When I started The Great I really didn’t know what to expect. Just wrapping up season 2 and my lord, I enjoy this show entirely too much. The dark humor is just on target for me, and I went in not liking Nicholas Hoult much at all and now I absolutely adore him. And then Gillian Anderson shows up!!

I’m trying to get into it: welcome to derry but im hating all this backstory and adult character storylines. I just wanna skip to the kid scenes. I guess im having a hard time with adults trying to explain everything when usually it’s a story about kids surviving a boogeyman.

Of course Adobe is excluding the standard, no AI plan that everyone wants to use from the black Friday sale. Of freaking course. Now I need to sit down and think really hard on what I can live without because this is a lot more expensive than what I paid last year.

Steam gave me a refund for anno 117: Pax Romana thankfully. So mad still, especially at seeing they also ai generated written dialogue. I was willing to blow 100 dollars on their game but now I’m prob going to avoid Ubisoft games like they’re infected.

So, I contacted Ubisoft support, and basically they at the very least admitted to using GenAI to create rough drafts for NPC dialogue which was then touched up by writers.
Now, Anno isn't exactly a story-centric franchise, but goddamnit this doesn't feel good.
