Americans should get ready for an unprecedented abuse of power in the next four years. Trump is coming back more emboldened, more powerful and it seems all guardrails have either been removed or rendered powerless. We will have a first taste of what authoritarianism looks like and it won't be pretty

Assuming every boat Trump and Hegseth blew up contained the amount of drugs they claim, Hernandez was responsible for bringing more drugs into the US than every one of them had combined. By far. And yet, Trump murders 80+ people and counting while pardoning the narco kingpin.

So denaturalize and deport Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, both of whom are public charges and security risks who undermine domestic tranquility and routinely promote radical foreign ideologies incompatible with America's pluralistic, scholarly, and secular traditions.
Trump: “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries … denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.“

One of the most openly racist people in America is controlling our government. Never in my life have I seen a deputy Chief of staff become so powerful but also using that power to terrorize immigrants and non-white people in the country.

Remember that the Republican party is okay with this.

It's tiring to see the media regurgitate whatever Trump says without providing context and giving their audience the right information.

There's no such thing as permanently pause.

They blamed Biden for the horrific death of Laken Riley because she was murdered by an immigrant. They say if Biden didn't let him in, she would still be alive. They created a new law to memorialize her.

Sarah Beckstrom would be alive if Trump didn't send her to DC. Isn't that how it works now?

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

MTG got a taste of what the Democrats and everyone with an ounce of dignity and character have always known and complained about Trump and she couldn't take it but resign from Congress.

She's not a victim but an active participant in the empowerment of this corrupt disgraceful president.

For the first time ever, I got a call from a pollster and the first question they asked me was do you approve of the job Donald Trump is doing me. I told them the obvious answer, NO I do not approve.

This is an accidentally honest answer. What she's saying in code is:
"The President is a misogynist, petulant bully. You've all seen him be a misogynist, petulant bully. And lots of voters out there are also misogynist or petulant or bullies and that's why they like him."
Q: What did the president mean when he called a reporter "piggy"?

LEAVITT: Look, the president is very frank & honest with everyone in this room. You'll all seen it yourself. You've all experienced it yourselves. And I think it's one of the many reasons the American people reelected this president

So the Trump plan is to go and terrorize one Democrat-led city after the other. It was formerly Chicago, now it's Charlotte.

I hope people realize that this will be the Republican platform for a long time. This is what they voted for, people need to respond by voting them out.

Mike Johnson and Fox news thought they could bury it but this is not going away. With the revelations in the emails today, it just got a renewed boost.

I've always believed that there's nothing Trump will do that will make these people turn against him. It seems this is one issue that is capable of creating a serious problem for him with his base. He wants them to move on but they're not willing to do so.

Mike Johnson tried everything he could do to avoid this moment but his stupidity and determination to shield Trump ended up backfiring.

Shame on him for covering up an alleged pedophile.

🆘 Today is when the tides change or republicans openly protect a pedophile.

It’s much easier to be right wing in this world. You can destroy things. Assault people. Kill people. Wreck economies. Appeal to people base emotions in blaming the other guy for the things you’ve destroyed/assaulted/killed/wrecked. It’s easy.

Just as I rightly guessed, American evangelical pastors who have friends in Nigeria are the reason why Trump suddenly started caring about Christians in Nigeria. He doesn't care about us and never will. I expect this to blow over in a few weeks.

President Trump’s threat to go “guns-a-blazing” into Nigeria concerned U.S. military officials in Africa and surprised even those who had been pushing the issue.

Another reminder that Schumacher is not equipped for this task. He has to go.
They're still delusional. Thinking that everything will get back to normal if they can somehow win back the Senate and House while the GOP goes back to their former principles.

Those days are far gone. The Republican party is now MAGA. Chuck Schumer and his people are not equipped for the task.

Well, the good news is that perhaps the capitulation of a bunch of Senate Dems to a deal that will make the entire government shut down worthless and will give a victory to Trump and the GOP is that perhaps people will finally get the idea of how much damage spineless MAGA-lite centrists are doing.

We're only in year one out of a four year term, and it's already bad. Remember that it will get worse but Trump and his people will keep telling us that what we're seeing is not real. They will claim that America has never been more prosperous and our lives are better.
November 9, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Exactly. He rode on previous administration's good economy both times and didn't fuck it up the first time because the Republican party was still a serious party that understood how bad he was and then restrained him.

Now, they're no longer a serious party.
The big difference between Trump's first term and second is that he didn't burn down a strong economy with tariffs last time around. It's a lot easier for voters to overlook his bigoted nonsense and authoritarian bluster when they feel good about material conditions.

Mamdani has hacked how the Democrats can win in the future.
THIS IS THE STRATEGY!

I hope the DNC and the leaders of the Democratic party are watching. He just gave them the winning strategy for free. No need to spend millions trying to create their own Joe Rogan or putting together a nonsense "Project 2029".

Economic populism works everywhere everytime.
November 6, 2025 at 5:20 AM
This is how you do it. Make them mad. Make them cry.
