Apple butter still cooking away in the crock pot. I also made a kompot with the cores, peels, sliced orange, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves and orange zest - the house once again smells amazing.

I figured it out. The stew and risotto were not perfect because Mercury is in retrograde. And yes, I am going to blame the rocks in the sky for this because otherwise IT'S ME, and THAT answer is unacceptable!

My Dad just arrived in Ontario and is staying with us for a while. He always had a huge amount of books but he had to let a lot of them go when he sold our childhood home this year. He kept some good ones though and showed up with this historical gem! I'm genuinely so excited!
