Chairman McQueen is far and away the most qualified candidate for Land Commissioner...

he has the experience and stamina to withstand the onslaught of Big Oil's lawyer and lobbying pressure and tactics.

I hope you'll join Jane and me in supporting Matthew McQueen for NM State Land Commissioner.

The Trump administration inherited an economy that the Economist called "the envy of the world" in a cover story a week before the election and easily could've coasted on that success (again) but instead they set it on fire.

Upset about shitty air travel? You should dress nicer.

Upset about high prices? You should just ignore it.

Upset about bad inflation? You should just move to another state.

Democrats are responsible for every intemperate comment from every random anonymous internet communist.

But the Republican president who is at the center of a cult of personality that has consumed the entire GOP can call for mass executions, and somehow this isn’t laid at the feet of Republicans.
Weird. Nothing on the @nytimes.com homepage about the President of the United States calling for the execution of members of the opposition in response to their political speech.
Important: House Dem leaders just said Trump's call for execution of Dems has prompted them to contact US Capitol Police and House Sergeant at Arms to "ensure the safety of these members and their families."

Treat Trump like an unhinged menace. He's weak and in deep political trouble. Don't let up.

My suspicion is that the plan is to use a new investigation into Epstein as a pretext for not being able to release the Epstein Files, as it is DOJ policy not to release the evidence in an ongoing investigation.

50-year mortgages would make potential homebuyers de facto renters *and* make them responsible for maintenance and repairs. It's a lose-lose proposition.

The solution to our housing shortage is to build more houses affordably and efficiently.

The State Land Office can help.

Based on experience, this claim is not accurate.

Corporate lobbyists have a role to play, but "NGO types" are (a) as well informed, (b) more honest about their data, and (c) more honest about their motivations.
You obviously can't just do what they say, but an unfortunate reality about politics (per the "legislative subsidy" literature) is that corporate lobbyists tend to be much better informed about the substantive details of policy issues than overworked/underpaid congressional staff or NGOs types.

Donald Trump had his nominee for attorney general fail because he was raping homeless teenagers.

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed
