Call your Senators.
BREAKING: The House passed the so-called SAVE America Act which threatens to upend our freedom to vote.

The bill could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters by requiring documents like passports or birth certificates to register to vote and forcing voter roll purges. The Senate must reject it.

This represents a huge leap in the opposite direction of democracy. No democracy, no environmental protection. Voting is sacrosanct. The Senate must kill this bill.
BREAKING: The House passed a voter suppression bill called the SAVE Act.

The bill requires every voter to present an ID & a passport or original birth certificate to register to vote.

This will stop millions of Americans who don't have these documents on hand from voting.

Wildfires. Drought. Flooding. Extreme Heat.

We can either keep paying for disaster recovery - or plan ahead to reduce the pollution making these crises worse.

That’s what the #ClearHorizonsAct does.

New Mexicans are already paying for climate disasters - through higher insurance rates, emergency response costs, and rising energy bills.

The #ClearHorizonsAct is about planning ahead so families don’t keep footing the bill.

If NM truly produces some of the cleanest oil in the world, then meeting Clear Horizons’ pollution limits should be achievable AND a competitive advantage.

Planning ahead rewards leaders, not laggards.

#ClearHorizonsAct #NMLeg
Two things can be true:

✅ Oil & gas contributes to NM’s budget
✅ Climate disasters + volatility are already costing families & the state BILLIONS

Planning ahead protects both budgets, families, and communities.

#ClearHorizonsAct #NMLeg
We should be honest with workers.

Automation is shrinking oil & gas employment - regardless of climate policy.

Planning ahead creates real job pathways instead of sudden layoffs.
