If memory serves, the Lincoln police spared no expense investigating this (the stickers on the sign, not the federal crimes).
In 2018, Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) was running for reelection and his sign got vandalized.
A few years later he was convicted of several federal crimes and had to resign.

After a wonderful trip to New York and Connecticut, we got to come home to our block party for National Night Out. Letting the kids roam and play without worrying about cars while we chat with neighbors is such a dream.

I’m half tempted to door knock for this campaign while we’re in New York (being slow-moving tourists) in a couple of weeks.

I’m half tempted to door knock for this campaign while we’re in New York (being slow-moving tourists) in a couple of weeks.
So much of going to the pool with toddlers is my 2 year old buckling and unbuckling and rebuckling a life jacket and trying to carry too many noodles and then my 5 year old showing me a pair of long-dead bats and then my 2 year old needing to go potty. Really appreciating the slowness of it all.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

It’s despicable that State DFL leaders struck a deal with Republicans, who don’t control any branch of State government, to betray core values held by DFLers. It's unconscionable that our DFL leaders decided 20,000 Minnesotan immigrants are disposable in their $67 billion budget.

Been thinking a lot this week about the silliest pregnancy test I’ve ever had to take—two weeks postpartum, back in the hospital for a D&C to remove retained placenta. They knew the test would be a false positive, but it was “procedure.” Happy Mother’s Day everybody.
