Esther Ghey is facilitating the rewriting of history. The circumstances of Brianna’s death are being rewritten to obscure the fact that she was murdered for being trans. It is mentioned not once in this article.

The mothers of Brianna Ghey and Jools Roome say Ofcom needs to do more to protect young people.

'We'd rather die than attack Farage from the left,' Labour scream as they shrink into nothing.
NEW: Andy Burnham *blocked* from standing in the Gorton and Denton byelection. Of nine voting members on NEC group was 8-1 against him.

The cold, analytical part of me wonders if things will finally change now it's a straight, white man they've murdered?

Well, well, well...if it isn't my inner voice especially since my chronic issues have become worse
A tremendous loneliness comes over you. Everybody in the world is doing something without you.

This might mean nothing if you're from the US but he looks like an extra in Dad's Army
no matter how hard Greg Bovino tries to exude rugged masculinity he always comes off like Don Knotts in a Portlandia sketch

Ryan Coogler's what now? The Guardian proving they haven't even watched the most nominated film in the history of The Oscars...

What was wrong with 1920s US isolationism? At least then The USA can keep its fuckery to itself instead of forcing it on to the rest of us. It feels like the best we can hope for now is some sort of civil war

This is great. It does remind me of Steve Carrell in Bruce Almighty 😅
Italian voice actor Carlo Bononi was the voice of all of the characters on Pingu. A trained clown by trade, he used a theater technique called grammelot, which consists of "speaking" in a mix of babbled gibberish noises. He improvised all the voices live and unscripted.

Automated photo memories from Google/Android are so weird. Like, 'remember that time you almost died? Here's a collage with colour pop!'

Yeah, that's why I always film myself during sex then I can watch it whenever I want

Was gonna reply to Gaby Hinsliff's post about the need to follow right wingers to avoid an "echo chamber" but she has already blocked me. Probably by a list.

Sensible Centrists never do talk about the need to follow left wingers do they?

This makes a lot of sense because you can tell the Labour Party definitely didn't prepare for the hypothetical of being in government before the last election
Susanna Reid asks Darren Jones what British companies who export to the US should do to prepare for a possible increase in tariffs.

Darren Jones replies: "you shouldn't prepare for a hypothetical"

I think one way to actually puncture Trump is if all the EU and UK countries withdrew from the World Cup. He cannot stand not being the cultural centre of things (hence the Trump-Kennedy Center) and I think this would actually hurt him

Maybe it's a generational thing (aka I'm old) but I really don't understand the mindset from certain queer people that they won't consume queer media unless it has a happy ending. Most recently encountered with people discussing Pillion which doesn't even have a sad ending, more bittersweet

You know when Faith possesses Buffy and practises talking like her in front of the mirror with variations of 'you can't do that, it's wrong'? That's what I'm reminded of when Keir Starmer says Trump is wrong to take Greenland and impose tariffs etc. it just all feels so fake and futile

I will say to the lovely HR boys to use the tenet of the fashion world and look at their weekly schedule and take one thing off before they proceed with the week. They don't need to do everything just because it's offered to them
