you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric

This. I really don't need to see another super hero (or villian) origin story on film. I don't care if it's Batman, the X-Men, or Bob the Super Plumber who was bitten by a radioactive toilet plunger. Just get on with it.
All the best superhero movies have been the ones that just take the presence of the lead as a given and have them show up doing the things the whole audience already knows they do. This obsession with arcs and origins is exhausting.
