I've been openly saying for years that most NYS Dems are moderates at best, but it's pretty clear that Adams is a Republican who's bad at pretending he's a Democrat
Eric Adams pretty much agreed to sidestep NY sanctuary protections, & make his city's immigrant residents more vulnerable to iCE, in pursuit of naked personal gain & a shield from corruption charges.

I think it's fairly obvious at this point that the current Democrat leadership is not fit for the current era we are in. They are playing chess, Republicans are knocking over the pieces accusing the Democrats of cheating.

Schumer is going to remain silent and vote for more Trump appointees in the spirit of bipartisanship
Democrats need to be saying right now that Elon Musk has committed crimes against the country and should be arrested so that when/if the time comes that they ever take back control of Congress and the Presidency they've laid the groundwork for arresting him.

As someone who lives in a NY suburb and regularly needs to drive into Manhattan, it's incredible how many of my coworkers had not heard of congestion pricing. Btw what a huge win so far. This is great.

I remember taking a trip to Florida last spring. I drove through a hardware store parking lot and got stopped by a pickup truck waving a big Trump flag picking up some day laborers. I think about that a lot.
