AI filmmaking is completely unserious.

You've got people with $30k begging the internet for ideas by next week because they have nothing of their own to say, it's just slop for the sake of slop. Embarrassing state of affairs.

Absolutely stunning day out at Alouette Lake today.

We're so absurdly lucky to have nature like this so close to the city.

When there’s a mass shooting in the US, Trump rushes to blame the left.

He stokes fear & division and rarely says anything about the victims.

In Canada, all party leaders went to pay their respects in Tumbler Ridge.

They held hands, placed flowers & showed unity.

That’s how it should be done.

The way parents have been pushing back on divisive narratives and showing compassion for everyone impacted is a true show of community. It says so much about Tumbler Ridge.

I sure hope we get to find out what movie this is.
Dude regularly works for Disney, DreamWorks, Netflix and CN so speculate away. But this sucks no matter which studio is doing it, and gross to think some major movie this year is running with a plagiarized image from ChatGPT.

And this was the company’s cynical view on when, and how, to do it:

I'll vote for whatever mayor does something about the scourge of new dental clinics taking over all of downtown New West.

There's been yet another one announced on Columbia St just two doors down from one that opened just months ago. It's absolutely absurd.

Tumbler Ridge is a small planned resource community, a winding 90 minute drive from the nearest city of at least 10,000 people.

A massive number of people are going to descend there tomorrow.

May those that arrive have respect and grace for the unimaginable grief.

Ten dead, including the shooter, in a small community in northern BC.

Absolutely devastating.

Just watched the Peter Jackson King Kong for the first time in many years.

A movie that is very dear to me because, not only did I grow up as a huge fan of the original, but this version was the first movie I ever worked on.

Anyway, it holds up. A goofy, exhilarating, ultimately deeply sad movie

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

I've always been bothered by the way people call the United States "America". It'd be like, say, the French deciding to call themselves Europe.

America is a fucking continent.

So this here really works for me.
Bad Bunny’s closing messages during his Super Bowl performance:

“The only thing more powerful than hate is love”
“Together, we are America”

The very people who love to mock the concept of "safe spaces" turning off the Super Bowl to load up YouTube to watch their MAGA friendly half time show, desperately trying to pretend they enjoy Kid fucking Rock.

Can't believe they're actually going ahead with this Hunt For Gollum movie.

Who wants this?

An ultimately inconsequential chapter that'll be filled with digital de-ageing, from a director who while being truly a very good dude has never made a good movie and most recently butchered Animal Farm.
