I can think of few statements that are more anti-Christian than professing to the world that you are “saving God.”
Eric Trump: "We're saving Christianity. We've saving God. We've saving the family unit. We're saving this nation. I mean, DEI is out of the window, Benny. You no longer have Colin Kaepernick kneeling for the national anthem. You no longer have Budweiser going woke as hell. All of this is dead."

I don’t think non-USians understand the significance of Cardinals from all over the world selecting a US American pope, especially someone who was close to Francis.
It’s meant to be a direct rebuke to the current US administration, not another US grasp at power.

Gunna say this early: I’m good with the coming @bsky.app subscriptions. I’m also really intrigued by their marketplace model.
I’d much rather a straightforward payment situation than data mining and copious ads.

Just a reminder if you waited until now to do a stock up:
Prioritize necessities.
Stock up on things you already use. If you don't like lentils now, you aren't going to want to eat them in leaner times, either.
If you have the extra funds, buy flavor (spices, sweetener preference)

This is the first morning opening the yarn store on my own. It’s giving me a picture of what it might be like to have my own little shop, curating the space and focusing on hospitality at the start of the day.

I miss blogs.
Writing them, I mean.
Or rather, I miss communication before the domination of social platforms.
Or maybe what I mean is that I miss phones with cords, pads of paper and leaky pens, handwritten notes, and wearing a watch that doesn’t remind me of the news.

Meat never left.
Tempeh won’t either.
I don’t know. I’m just tired of declarative bylines that attempt to frame reality and drive commerce.

Let's talk about the proposed economic boycott.
I wholeheartedly embrace it as we must heal from unrestrained consumption and Neoliberal capitalism. We should participate while also recognizing other collective actions are going to be necessary.
