Important to understand that Sinclair, Nexstar, and Tenga are the local TV Oligarchy. They are increasingly looking to buy each other up until all US local TV is controlled by one company. They need a compliant FCC for this.

I’m receiving attack mailers meant for voters from his GOP opponent, which means they went through his campaign finance reports and added all his donors to their mailing list.

Teams play others in their region more. So Sox would play Tiggers and Twins more in AL, then Cubs and Brewers in NL more often and whatever else makes sense. Keep every team plays all other teams at least one series.
And get rid of some games.
Best way is start the season mid-late April

another hot take: with the two expansion teams, make a 16 team NL and 16 team AL. No more divisions. Top 5 or 6 in each league make the playoffs with say top two teams getting byes.

I have a lot of controversial baseball takes. Here's one:
If batter reaches first or other base on an error it should count as a positive for their OBP. Fielder f'd up and batter got to the base. Not the batter's fault the fielder f'd up.
