In July of 2025 the U.S. dollar was at 58% of global reserve currency. Now it is at roughly 40%. The Euro is at roughly 20%. If those lines ever cross America is in serious trouble.
The US Dollar share of global reserve currency has fallen to its lowest level this century.

It’s hard to think Trump isn’t acting purely in the interests of Russia and China.

Memory is a fragile thing in this moment, so it is important to keep in mind that Hakeem Jeffries refused to whip his caucus against ICE funding earlier this week.

Our initial analysis is up.

The video footage appears to show that the gun was taken away from the man before he was shot.

He was UNARMED before any of the shots were fired.
Federal law enforcement agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis on Jan. 24 according to local police officials. DHS told Fox News that the man was “armed with a gun”. A video of the shooting appears to show that a gun was taken from the man before the first shot was fired. x.com/BillMelugin_...

When you execute an unarmed man after you disarm him that’s called murder.
January 24, 2026 at 7:13 PM
Sad but true. With this regime the propaganda machine starts running before the victim’s body is cold.
Treat the US government and ICE claims like you'd treat a Russian government claim after they've shot down an airliner or bombed a hospital. America 2026.

With any luck in two hours I will leave this airport. I’ve been here for 12 hours already and I have to say I’m good. Think I could go for some non-airport time.
Flight canceled, spending the night in Ohare. Good times.

fear.

they need to demonstrate that resistance is worse than useless, that it will be broken, and that their agents have impunity regardless of their actions.
So… what’s the strategic goal for the administration in Minnesota, exactly?

I’m not being cute, I don’t understand the theory of victory here and want someone to explain it to me.

The grimness of US history should encourage us. Yes, people used to send lynching postcards. And other people saw that, worked towards building a more just society anyway, and succeeded beyond anyone's wildest imagination. There's more work to be done. What's our excuse for choosing despair instead?
I understand and appreciate the fact that for some it is genuinely uncomfortable and distracting to think about how grim US history is. yes, that is strategically relevant, and no, I wouldn't put "did you know people used to send lynching photos to each other as postcards?" on a recruitment flyer

This is your regular reminder that there is no govt policy in America that could survive a prolonged general strike.

Powerful people live lives of extreme comfort and care about money a great deal. A general strike would take advantage of those vulnerabilities.
There's at least one place observing the strike for every letter of the alphabet! And for some letters, there are *dozens*...
there are a bunch of big names on this list, including multiple beard award winners, and some places i never would have guessed in a hundred years (the malt shop?!) and i'm genuinely floored and delighted to see so many participants

Ah, the magical two weeks. Can’t remember if he was going to end the war in Ukraine “in two weeks” three or four times, but it was multiple times.
Trump on Greenland: “We’ll have something in two weeks. There a good spirit to get something done. And we have to have a strong freedom.” (Speaking to reporters on Air Force One.)

Had been meaning to point this out for colleagues new to this type of work or anyone who may be exposed to tear gas or pepper spray: when you get home after start the shower cold.

I jumped in a hot shower once after exposure and essentially pepper sprayed and tear gassed myself. Not a good time.
Former USAF here who went through basic CBRN and got doused in the stuff.

When washing off afterwards, shower in cold water first. Warm water will not only open your pores to release any clinging tear gas but also reactivate the stuff. Having a second round in your shower is unpleasant.

Agents later took the father and child away in a vehicle and sent them to Texas
