Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.
Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials say: Kill them all
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

4am wakeup call from the kiddo leads to lying awake brainstorming a new story idea and intermittently rolling over to type notes on my phone. Will determine viability when fully caffeinated.

“I can avoid being seen if I wish. But to disappear entirely? That is a rare gift.”

Short-haired Aragorn and my wife as Arwen. Not pictured: the kiddo as an adorable Frodo.

For those unaware, I have an IG account separate from my main called Well-Earned Comforts, where I’ve been posting a video everyday as a different Lord of the Rings character. Here’s a sample. If you like it, look for more on IG!

Helldivers 2 is the first game in a while that feels like it’s completely overtaken my life and every time I think I’m taking a break I play some insane mission with a guy named Taintimus who is SO into that I’m compelled to keep playing.

Over 200 submissions showed an impressive range of fantastical takes on the Old West, making the selection of the finalists extremely difficult. Check out the winners at the link and thank you to all who participated!!

I’m stoked to share that I am one of three Third Place winners in the Weird West Quick Draw Flash Fiction contest!

“The Cons of Counting Eggs” is set on the same planet as Song of the Raptors and my short story “Pepperdam Luck”.

The raptors never left. They’ve always been ready to ride.

I fucking swear, I will never understand the politics of "don't let other people be happy"

(I do actually understand it, it's fear of the other. But still.)

Thinking about how cool it would be if @bioware.bsky.social made an anthology for Mass Effect in the style of the Star Wars From a Certain Point of View books where each story is from the POV of a minor character. I’d be willing to contribute *wink wink nudge nudge*.

DOOMERISM IS CRINGE
If you study the successful rebellions and resistance and civil rights movements of the past, you will note that “people who spend their time publicly bumming out everyone around them by emphasizing how totally fucked everything is” do not play a central role, or indeed, any role at all
