Did you know that at one point in the 90s the Polish government had an advertising campaign featuring gangsters with bloody baseball bats reminding kids that they can be used to play games too?

Using “say your prayers” in a threat has always struck me as weird because it sort of implies that the threatened will have some time to do that.

Alarming Tales no. 2 (Nov 1957). The GCD credits Joe Simon with this cover, which I’m a little dubious about. It has also been credited to Mort Meskin with George Roussos. Not sure about that either. Regardless, it’s a cool cover, with some nice, subtle grey shading. Interiors are mainly by Kirby.

Updated Heckler’s Wikipedia page again. I remembered he makes a blink and you’ll miss it cameo in The Question All Along the Watchtower #4. I also need to add that book to my collection.
