I’m Ian! Hi everybody. My avi used to be an angry Hulk but this is me.

I still post a lot about the Hulk though.

folks like Wiseman & Ehrenreich are incredible but it's frustrating how little art is made from the 1st hand perspective of poverty. You gotta be born wealthy enough to buy membership to a professionalized credentialed class to be heard. The poor are written about but rarely get the chance to speak.

This show is BAD but this type of decadent high-gloss sleazy trash is exactly what I want from Ryan Murphy, so, eh.

Dick Tracy is one of the most beautiful-looking films ever made. It's a tribute to the way that we remember reading comic books as children - the colors pop, the scale astonishes, the framing always built to be purely rousing. It is a fully-realized world of artifice and emotion.

Whenever I feel the urge to buy a new item of clothing, I audit my entire wardrobe to see what I want to keep/donate/toss and invariably I get so stressed out by the concept of owning items that the thought of adding more of them repulses me.

This would also make a good tattoo.
A cel from the Smoking 'Sonic Says' segment, from 'Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog'.

I was obsessed w/ this cartoon when it was on in that weird period where Fox Kids showed like, this, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, and James Bond Jr. lol
The fact that one of the most interesting versions of Captain Hook is probably from the 90's Fox's Peter Pan & The Pirates, is kind of crazy.

HA they went hard with his dialog....man I haven't seen this in 20 years.

Really notable how much more sense the real world makes if you just look at it as if the Red Skull is real and he won.

Me watching Pillion: are these gentlemen aware that motorcycles are very dangerous.
The scene that made me YELP is when you discover that Alexander Skarsgard spends his nights reading Knausgard.

I sobbed during the Miss J. Alexander segment of the ANTM doc, but I needed that thing to be like five times longer than it was 😭

The list of girls I want to hear from is basically endless.

And Dani remains maybe the most beautiful person on planet Earth - she is beyond stunning.

Hoo boy. I've never read the IDW material but... boy I really want this to compliment the Marvel volumes.

Curious what paper stock they're going to use since this is newer material.

We often don't think of superheroes as disabled, though nearly all the popular ones are, but the X-Men didn't have a ramp for wheelchairs in Charles' own home by the time New X-Men gave characters typing prosthetics and discussed the actual change to Scott's vision his prescription glasses make.

Feel like starting a new Switch 2 game since it's a holiday.

I've already played Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Pokemon Legends...

Leaning toward Dragon Quest Reimagined... Part of me wants to play Ivalice Chronicles, but I played so much War of the Lions back in the day, don't know if I have it in me..

Deeply weird in retrospect that actors 2017-18 there were concurrent live-action Marvel shows airing focusing on: 1) the Runaways, 2) the Kree (Agents of SHIELD season 5 and 3) the Fenris twins (The Gifted)

Like they were just pulling from anything.
Rewatching season 1 of Runaways.

I actually think this was a pretty good show considering how little attention it got.

Among the teen-based Marvel stuff I think it's a nice compliment to the first two MCU Spider-Mans and Ms. Marvel.
