I will say this. As much of a disgrace as Comics Explained is, I do appreciate that his bullshit has gotten people to talk about Milestone. That always makes me happy to see people talking about Milestone regardless of the reason.
Fuck Comics Explained. Milestone is fantastic and important for both diversity and representation but also comic book history in general.

I will say this. As much of a disgrace as Comics Explained is, I do appreciate that his bullshit has gotten people to talk about Milestone. That always makes me happy to see people talking about Milestone regardless of the reason.
They’re taking so got dang long to put out the compendiums, the friggin DC logos don’t match. Whatever. Milestone reread but in story order will be happening sooner than later.

I haven’t been going crazy on the Mario figures like I have been the Sonic movie figures. But I need my girl Rosalina.
There’s a guy on Twitter who’s like a living Milestone encyclopedia and when he told me there was a planned Technique book, my heart sank from what could have been.
This was just to name a few. I could go on. The fact I forgot to include Technique while posting this kinda irks me. She’s awesome!
And I will forever be disappointed in DC for letting Milestone fold in the 90s because she was supposed to have her own miniseries! GAH! And I’m so mad again!

I’ve been reading the original Icon run over the past few days and it’s really great and I totally support giving Milestone more spotlight. Potentially after the New History Dakota Incident book comes out we’ll see them start showing up more (Static did show up briefly in Kids Are All Fight)

I will never forget when I was talking about Kobalt with the owner of one of my old LCSs and he referred to it as “Milestone for White People”
He wasn’t bad mouthing Milestone. It just showed he unfortunately missed out on this hidden gem. Also Kobalt is canonically Cuban.
