“We couldn’t report on the sinking of the Titanic until we spoke to Captain Smith.”
Weiss concluded: “We need to be able to make every effort to get the principals on the record and on camera. To me, our viewers come first, not a listing schedule or anything else. And that is my North Star, and I hope it's the North Star of every person in this newsroom.”

Why would anyone risk themselves to go on 60 Minutes after this? How can viewers ever trust CBS News to report fairly on topics this White House is sensitive about?

Trump went on back to back golf club trips this weekend. These trips add up costing taxpayers millions.

Why don’t Republicans cut these trips instead of Medicaid?

Even if that is Ingrid and not Pam in the top pic, both women are getting way too close to a married man, and in Pam's case, the President of the United States.

Melania should have been there in both pictures, but she isn't because she wants nothing to do with Jabba the Hut - unlike the other two.

In many states across the U.S., Uber’s guidelines allow people with serious criminal convictions to drive, as long as those convictions are more than seven years old, a New York Times investigation found. Some of those drivers have gone on to sexually assault or harass passengers.
Uber Cleared Violent Felons to Drive. Passengers Accused Them of Rape.
The ride-hailing giant’s background check process was intended to speed drivers onto its network while keeping costs down, internal documents show.

Since his appointment, RFK Jr. has pursued a brutal vision of American health that several experts liken to a sort of eugenics. Kennedy has made it clear that certain deaths are acceptable or even preferable to a world where every child is vaccinated.

I'm just gonna post a piece of my art from my files every day til the New Year because WHY NOT.

In honor of the winter Solstice today, here's an ink I did for a tarot deck in 2018 (I ended up going with a different style for the final deck).

This is the worst case scenario that everybody was worried about
It is utterly catastrophic that RFK Jr. plans to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines.

It’s a betrayal of science, ethics, compassion, and the people of the United States.

And it was also a specific goal of Project 2025 (page 254).

The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.

DOJ broke the law today by refusing to produce all the Epstein files. It also broke the law by redacting information other than to protect victims. Yet, the corporate media is acting that DOJ did us a huge favor.

It is heartbreakingly cruel that a woman is simply walking across the street to get to where she’s going, and in seconds, she’s gone. Another SUV driver has killed an innocent person in NYC in a crosswalk. A family is about to have the worst holiday season of their lives.
Woman fatally struck by SUV in Lower East Side hit-and-run
According to police, a black SUV was northbound on Clinton Street and turning right on Stanton Street when it struck the woman as she crossed in a marked crosswalk.
